New user here, quick questions...

I am getting TrackIR 5 soon enough and have a few questions.

First of all, I don't really like to wear hats while playing something, but it appears I will have to for awhile because I do not have a headset and didn't order the track-pro clip. So, will any hat work?

I have a flatscreen monitor... I read something about a "Fishtank?"

Any hat or visor with a brim to attach the standard TrackClip to will suffice. Regarding the "Fishtank" comment on the How TrackIR Works page--it's just referring to the fact that TrackIR will give you a VR type of effect without needing to actually wear an HMD, shutter glasses, or other special display equipment. It doesn't have any special bearing on flat screen monitors, as compared to maybe an old CRT. You should be fine with your setup.
