Hello
I just received TrackIR Pro as a gift and am trying to use it with Flight Simulator 2004. I first had a problem with the TrackIR program crashing using drivers 4.1.036, and .037 & not recognizing the device, so I have switched back to 4.1.030. This driver doesn't crash, and I am able to use the all functionality of the TrackIR program. The problem arises when I load FS2004. The TrackIR doesn't work. Under "Current Game" it lists "None" even though the game is running. I can't seem to get the game and the TrackIR to communicate.
I am NOT using the no-cd hack, I DO have messages enabled, and Natural Point DOES show up under my USB section of Device Manager. I am NOT using MessageKill, nor have I modified my language.dll. Oh, and no Blue light when Flight Sim starts. I'm very confused.
My specs:
Windows 2000 SP4
TrackIR Pro 4
Flight Simulator 2004, no addons.
TrackIR Serial:
Is there a trick to enabling TrackIR in FS2004?
Thank You.
TrackIr will not recognize FS2004
Re: TrackIr will not recognize FS2004
Have you tried using the 5.x software?
How was the software crashing?

Thanks for your reply.
The program would freeze a few seconds after starting. I would have to kill the process using Task Manager to close.
I have not used v. 5 because I am using Windows 2000 SP4. According to your website, the requirements for v. 5 are minimum XP. I am under the impression that only v. 4 is compatible with this OS.
