SmartNav shutting off by itself

I am having a problem with SmartNAV shutting off by itself without any prompting. When I am using it, everything will be working properly and all of a sudden I won't be able to find my dwell click toolbar and then I notice that the lights in the camera have shut off. I upgraded to the latest and greatest camera but the same thing is happening with it also. Is this a problem with settings?I have to reboot my computer to get the camera to turn on again. It works every time but I'm tired of having to reboot. Any ideas?

Make sure you uncheck the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" options under the power management tab on all of the USB root hubs in device manager.

Thanks. I just checked them and they were all unchecked already. Any other ideas?

Both the dwell toolbar disappears, as well as the SmartNAV software?

What version of Windows are you running?

What version of the SmartNAV software?

Yes, they both disappear. I'm running Windows Vista 2007, SmartNAV 4.

The applications are not listed on the taskbar, down by the clock?

Is the system going to sleep mode, when this occurs?
