Problem with TrackIR & MS FSX

Got Track IR Pro with Vector expansion. Works great in IL2, but having a real problem in setting it up for FSX. Head movement far too sensitive & I've tried everything (i.e. editing 'Flight' profile). Tried moving 'Smoothing' slider, different curves; smooth, linear etc, moving whole curve down. Unit came with s/w version 4.1.036, downloaded 037, & now seems worse, i.e. in cockpit view, whole front of plane moves round, then it snaps round suddenly. It's unusable & I'm at my wit's end, not v technical. I'm running XP 32 bit. Would be v grateful for some advice!

Backup your custom profiles and revert back to 4.1.036?
Use a registry cleaner to erase any leftovers there (or do this manually).
Here it always ran fine in FSX under 4.1.036. Never used 4.1.037.
I would not recommend version 5 of the software since i had some issues under XP 32-bit. 50% of the time it came with an error on shutdown.

Thx, I'll try removing 037 & see what happens. Do you know how to make it less sensitive tho? I still had that prob with 036.

A bit late respons (overlooked it).
I don't know if it makes it less sensitive in FSX. I use only one profile for every sim ("home tweaked" smooth profile) and find them in every sim responding +/- the same (in XP SP3).
