Mouse emulation

Post by steve9mm »

When researching the two natural point products the track IR vs. the smart nav. The feedback seemed to be go with track IR because of the great experience with the enhanced game and use the mouse emulation for non-enhanced game for head movement, where the natural point would only every give you head movement.
How do you activate the mouse emulation? I see it in the game list but I am not sure what the next step is

Thank you

You first start the TrackIR software

Then you start the mouse emulation application, located in the Start menu -> All Programs -> TrackIR folder

Vincent,

By the way, I found this here, but unless I'm mistaken, it's nowhere in the documentation - and, yes, I actually did read the doc...!

The doc should really include this, and also mention how this mouse emulation utility works.

Hi CeSinge. The mouse emulation is more of a free utility that we distribute than an actual component of our core application. It's supposed to be available as a tool for those that can make use of it, but it's not actually an official "feature" of the product. Thus the emission from the manual and official documentation.

If, in the future, we actually build mouse emulation into our application, we'll likely give it more prominent exposure.
