Fixing occlusion

Post by hollow4d »

Hello,

Forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Is there any documentation or tutorial on how to fix occlusion. I have look through the web site and the only video I found was the "Draw Tool" which has no audio and doesn't really explain how to use the tool.

Thanks

There is nothing beyond what you have already located.

What issue are you having, with the editing feature?

Can not figure out how to use it. I will admit I have not played with it much, that is because I could not find any tutorials on how to use it.

Scrub to the region of the track where there is a gap (due to occlusion or tracking issues), open the draw tool by clicking its icon, select the correct track, then use the draw tool to fill in the gap by drawing the correct track location.

You can also use the Fill Gaps tool to fill in gaps manually or automatically.

After using either of those tools you can then use the Smooth tool (select the desired region to smooth first) to blend the results.

Ok thanks that is helpful.

Does the data need to be trejectorized first before fixing the gaps

Yes, you need to trajectorize (turn into 3d data) to be able to edit the tracks.
