TIR software tack a long time to launch
TIR software tack a long time to launch
Hi !
I have a TIR3+VE with the last software (for TIR3) version ...
And since few weeks (no hardware or driver change), it takes a long time to run ... and when I stop it (close the software), the TIR hardware dosn't goes off (status light and IR DEL still on) !?
Any idea how to fixe that ... I already try many uninstall and reinstall ...
EDIT:
I try that: http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubb ... #Post13696
issue still present !!!
Thank for the help !

Re: TIR software tack a long time to launch
What version of the TrackIR software are you using?
What version of Windows?
Are you running any other applications, in the background?
What is the size of each profile you have, located in the profiles folder (Program files\naturalpoint\TrackIR\profiles)?

Re: TIR software tack a long time to launch
Are you connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
