I have had my TrackIR for a few years and it has sat unused for some time. I want to start using it again and no long have the software disk or documentation. I believe it is a TrackIr 3 but am not 100% sure. How do I identify the device version? The circuit board copyright is 2004 and what looks like a serial number on the bottom is xxxxx.

Your serial number indicates that it is indeed a TrackIR 3. You can download the latest version of software supporting that camera here:
