choppy movement at slow speeds

I recently got the track IR 5 and am using it with track clip pro on windows xp 32 bit. Everything seems to be working fine except if I move my head very slowly, the movement seems choppy but if I move at moderate speed its very fluid. Kinda weird. any advice?

Im using it with X-plane 9 with the PilotView plugin by Sandy Barbour which is an officially recognized trackIR title.

What do you have the speed settings set to?

Smoothing settings?

Whatprofile are you using?
