Hi, my name is Ezequiel.
I'm having some kind of wierd troubles while exporting the actor from arena to motionbuilder 2010: the opticals from the feet are assigned in a wrong way to the actor (if i could contact to an e-mail account i'll send you some imagens of what's happening) so the feet just pivot from a weong position. I tried to solve it modifing the pivot position of the actors feet, but this is just a way of get some "lying results". Another very very wired thing is that when i create the market set in motion builder from scratch the rotation info from the opticals is not evaluated and the actor body parts only translate.
want some more wierd stuff?? haha listen to this:
the only way to export an actor from arena to motion builder is having the USB Hubs turned off, if not windows (windows seven 64b) crashes; not only that, i also need to turn the hubs off to be able to trajectorize the capture data. Also when i export from arena to MB i have to export at least one take cos if not the actor in MB has the issue i've described before, it has just translate transformations.
thanks in advance if you can give me some answers!!
Ezequiel.

Re: wierd stuff while exporting to fbx
what do you mean with active extension?
i have just downloaded the new version, i didn't know it was released.
my pc has an intel i7 core 860 @2.8GHz
8gb ram
gforce 250gts
500gb
this could explain the hubs issue.. but what about that trouble with the wrong asigned opticals in mb??
may i send you some images of what's happening?
