Reopening TrackIR 5

I recently purchased the TrackIR 5 Bundle and I love how it works. The only issue I have is, how do you bring up the TrackIR program once it has been opened and all the parameters set? I noticed after FSX opens, it drops down to the bottom of the screen, and when I click on it to reopen the program to make a change, I get a "this program is already running" box. The only way I can reopen it is to shut the computer down and restart TrackIR. Any help is appreciated.

Well, in the top left corner there's a little tool symbol, if you click on it, you can chose your settings for TIR5 for example to not let it be minimized.

You can right click on the TrackIR icon, on the task bar, after it is minimized, and select restore, to bring it back on the screen.

The software auto-minimizes, when a gaming application starts, to reduce CPU usage.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried the right click on the TrackIR icon in the task bar, and I still get the "already running" box. I will try the settings that shabbir recommended tonight.

I tried the suggestion of shabbir and I still cannot reopen TrackIR after it has been launched and minimized. I get the box with "Another instance of the TrackIR software is already running". Not sure of what to do next. I am using windows 7. Anymore ideas why this is happening??

Sounds like the software is set to autominimize.
Look at the Settings.xml file, in the TrackIR folder, and open it with an editing application

Check the above settings, and set to 0, if set to 1.

I checked the TrackIR folder settings file and it was already set to "0" on RunMinimized. I did not see a "Minimize to Tray" line in the xml file.

OK, I wonder if it may have been moved off-screen.

What version of Windows are you using?

I am using Windows 7.

First make sure the software isn't running in the task manager

Then run the regedit application within Windows (type in regedit, after clicking the start window)

Then delete the x. and y postion settings - in the following location

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NaturalPoint\TrackIR\Settings

Then try restarting the IR software
