After installing TrackIR_4.1038 Beta 3, Norton 360 removes the TrackIR.exe files. A message from Norton states that SONAR has determined this to be high risk.
1) is there a simple way of getting Norton to let this through, and 2) Can Natural Point point this out to Norton.
Thanks!

It would be helpful if you were able to post the exact Norton Product and its Version along with a screenshot of this occurring.

Re: TrackIR_4.1.038.beta.03 NOrton Anitvirus removes exe
I just downloaded Beta 4 and still have the same problem. I don not have this issue with Version 4.1036.
I am using Norton 360, Version 4.3.0.5
I do have a screenshot, but can seem to find out how to upload it to this site. Basically what I get is a Notice that states "SONAR has removed security threat trackir.exe. Your computer is secure."

Re: TrackIR_4.1.038.beta.03 NOrton Anitvirus removes exe
I just downloaded the 5.1 Beta 2 software and I do NOT see the problem described above. The TrackIR 5 software loads find. However, it does not detect my Track IR 3. After going through the detection stage, it reports "no device detected".
I have tried the trouble shooting steps of shutting down the software, unplugging the TrackIR 3 (and pro Clip), and then plugging it back it. The software does not see it. The Device Manager does show the TrackIR 3 as a device.
I have also tried rebooting to no avail. Any suggestions to get the Track IR 5 software to recognize the Track IR3?
Thanks,
