TrackIR software unresponsive upon opening

I use trackir 4 pro with the trackir 5 software. As of recently, after no changes to my system or software, everytime I open the TrackIR5 software, a dialogue comes up saying that TrackIR is unreponsive and then it closes. However, the 4 red lights on my trackir4 sensor are still on, even though no software is running. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would try manually removing the TrackIR 4 from the device manager, then unplugging the device, rebooting the system, and plugging the camera back in once Windows has had a chance to restart. If the problem persists beyond that, perhaps try installing the TrackIR camera and software on a second computer if one is available to you. This will help us narrow down whether it is a driver, system, or camera issue.
