Experiencing difficulty with normal startup

Hi,
Since participating in beta testing of DCS's A10C, which required me to run that program as administrator, other programs,including TrackIR automatically required that I do the same. I have since removed the beta A10C program and replaced it with the gold version - it starts normally now. Similarly, other programs now start / open by clicking on the icon....except TrackIR. I have removed and reinstalled the program but to no avail: When I click on the icon I get the system error "TrackIR 5.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"... if I right click the icon and select "run as...administrator", the program runs properly.

Can you advise what I need to do in order to run TrackIR normally?
