Is this Windows 7 64 or 32 bit?
Is this a new or recently upgraded computer?

This is the same pc I used it before however
I installed Vista Ultimate with sp1 and now I think it doesnt
like sp1 oleut32 file in error message.
I think I have to redo my whole install w/out sp1 hope this gets driver gets patched.

Re: Smartnav crashes on window 7 ultimate pc
Have you updated Vista to SP2? I've tried the software on Vista SP1 as well as 7 ultimate 32 and 64 bit, and I have had no issues there.
Try running full updates on the machine (Vista SP2) and any runtime libraries you may have, as well as running the smartnav installer with the run as administrator option. XP SP3 compatibility mode may help as well.
