Failure Rate - First year?

I am in the U.K and am looking to import a TrackIR 5 owing to much cheaper cost than from the U.K directly.

HOWEVER, should anything go wrong within the first year, arranging service across the pond would be a nightmare.

So, my question is, do these go wrong often within the first year?

I am prepared to take the risk if failure rate is within the first year is low.

Unfortunately, as with any product, failures within the first year are possible. Outside of production error, our reported failures within the first year are quite low. In the event that there is a recall, we work with our overseas customers to attempt to spare them the expense of return shipping.
