Hi.
I'm using 9 V100:R2 cameras, and 3 D-Link USB hubs. And I control cameras by using original program and Camera SDK 1.0.0 Final.
When I connect cameras as follows, I can get gray scale image.

-----Hub----cam8
cam9-|
But I cannot get gray scale image, when I connect cameras as follows

Is there some limitation in connecting D-Link USB hub when using camera SDK?
I'm using Core2Duo 2.5GHz, Windows Vista SP2, 4GB memory, and Camera SDK 1.0.0 Final.

Re: Cascade Connection of V100:R2Camera by D-Link Hub
Hello -
This would be completely expected. The latency and bandwidth involved in daisy chaining hubs can cause very quirky if not outright incorrect behavior in cameras. The recommended setup is no more than one hub in between the camera and the computer, and no more than two active extension cables between the computer and hub. Extensions can not be used between the hub and camera, and cables should be no more than 5m.
