Exp_FaceConstraints

Post by mason_tw »

Hi all.
I have capture a facial motion using your software Expression version 1.72. I have encounter a problem when I link the data to the MotionBuilder2012 using your plungin: OptitTrack. The root of my C3D data in motion builder does not have the rotation and position link to it. I have checked all the 4 check boxes shown in your video demo. How do I get the root in the MotionBuilder2012 to have the position and rotation data from the Expression software. Thanks a lot in advance!

There is a checkbox under the optical device properties for "Expression" in mobu. It is unchecked by default, but should be checked for facial streaming.

If the box is unchecked, translation and rotation data for the face will not properly come through.

hihi,
i am a friend of the person who created the topic.
thanks for the reply and now the root have rotation and position movement.

now i have encounter another problem. When i am in the online-mode and i try to use the recording option to created new takes. By using this meathod, the root will not have the movment being recorded and all the C3D data seem to be wrong too.

How do i get the correct recording and is still being able to use the Exp_FaceConstraints.py
