Any insight into the bizarro loss of function in XP? I've still had no luck.

Didn't work, even with just dot tracking. Whatever method TIR uses to work with CFS3 wouldn't be so sensative as to not work if its installed somewhere other than C:\program files\naturalpoint\TrackIR 4 right? Done it 2 or 3 times, but without deleting the directory...going to have to find that vector serial card again though.

Well, I can say that its trackIR not recognizing CFS3. I alt+tabbed to see if a current game was loaded, and there was none.

No, I'm actually running very little. I just did a fresh install of windows less than a month ago.

I tried it before I posted, however that didn't help. I did find however that changing light filtering and dot size changed how the flickering behaved.

Oddly enough when I went to do it again, it works now.
