TrackIR4 not working in MS FS 2004
Re: TrackIR4 not working in MS FS 2004
And just to be sure.... when you are in FS2004. Just in the cockpit before take off in Virtual Cockpit mode. Do you see the message at the bottom asking you to press '.' to release the brakes?

Yep, and when I cycle through the views the current view is shown in the top right corner, ie. 'SPOT', 'COCKPIT' etc.
The simulation starts paused, would that have any effect?
(Like I said above, I'm really clutching at straws!)
Gudgey.

Rick, yes the software works fine without any games running, the heads start centred and move as you would expect. The same go's for the Track screen with the three points.
The main TrackIR screen shows 'Status' and 'Tracking' is active at the bottom, but 'Current game' never changes from 'None' (with FS9).
I know, I definately do not have the FS2002 module installed, although I just doubled checked to be sure.
Markoz, I had a look at the threads about NPRegFix, but didn't think it was relevant as the unit does work, just not in FS9.
I tried it anyway and received this message: 'No devices detected that need to be fixed'.
I have some questions regarding my setup that may or may not be relevent:
1) I installed the TrackIR software on a partition (H:) rather than the default C: drive.
2) I have a CH Flight Sim Yoke which, has a hat switch.
3) I am not using the Administrator account.
I am really just clutching at staws here, because TrackIR works fine with FS2002, Lock-On and falcon 4, all in conjunction with the above three points.

Re: TrackIR4 not working in MS FS 2004
I have just recieved my Trackir and it runs fine in FS9 with the Nocd patch too....
I have only got SP1 in windows XP..Dont know if that makes any differance.
It sure is the best thing for FS i have ever bought.

Regards PaulHi rubberball.
I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP2 and, as I stated before, FS9 works fine with the NoCD crack. So maybe it is a problem with other operating systems.
It just goes to show that quite a few of us are not having problems using the NoCD crack. The question is. What O/S are they using?

Re: TrackIR4 not working in MS FS 2004
I too am running the nocd patch for FS9. All works brilliantly EXCEPT the fact that for some reason FS9 crashes when I try to adjust the scenery settings back to high. I installed the NP software for TIR and when I entered the sim, the details were set to low (I guess, since I cant get into that property without it crashing.) I assume it's now LOW since I see no taxi lines anymore, or signage. It also seemed to turn on Lens Flare, which Ive never ever had ON.
