sk3pt, if I'm understanding you correctly, this is already possible. In your TIR profile, where you set your 'center', 'pause' and 'precision' hotkeys, there is a checkbox called 'trap'. It is checked by default but if you uncheck it for 'pause', it means that when you press your pause key, all TrackIR axes are disabled until you release the key. Essentially, that's what 'trap' means. When it's disabled, you get a press and hold function. Hope this helps.
I thought the 'trap' checkbox was for in-game key mapping. Anyway, I can't get it to work like that, as I'm only able to get a press&hold key for enabling TrackIR (enabled while holding the key down).
So, you managed to have TrackIR enabled from the start ; disabling it temporarily by pressing and holding the hotkey down ; enabling TrackIR again when releasing ? In that case, maybe I should update my software or something... hmmm

Thanks.

Hi, sk3pt.

Sorry! Turns out I was wrong. The one you're looking for is 'toggle' not 'trap'. The unit starts out enabled and when you press and hold the key, you pause the unit. For some reason, on my machine this doesn't work using a mouse button and I suspect it could be the same when trying this with a joystick button too. I'm using the 5.0.210 (build 5780) software.

Yes, I've unchecked 'toggle', but somehow my TrackIR unit starts out disabled. Weird...

Thanks.
