Vincent, I just purchased this last week and have the exact same problem. I just received it yesterday and installed it last night ( I will admit I have not had a lot of time to troubleshoot this).

Are you telling me that the software you sent me is out of date on a brand new purchase? I don't have a problem if it is but a note in the box would be nice indicating that I should "upgrade" after install. Now I'm also confused as you state in another thread to install the software somewhere other than "/program files" ( maybe only for Vista) but in this thread you say install in the "/Program Files". Can you clear this up for me, thanks.

Depends on the OS, Vista 64-bit has some quirks with permissions that can different.

Depends on your cd version, on whether you need to upddate the software.

Are you using the metal clip, or the trackclip pro, on the left side of your headset?

Do you have vector or trackclip pro, selected in the different profiles?

What do you see on the tracking screen?

I just updated the software last night from your site, no change.

I have track clip pro and it is selected. I have changed over tot he metal clip and it works fine ( so Vector when vector is selected and used works fine) Track clip pro does not ( no lights on in room at all).

What I see on setup:
1) head movement is good to the left but not right, turn right and head inverts and turns backwards.
2) LED's are centered, long one on bottom, top and bottom aligned vertically.
3) Up is down and down is up ( pitch is backwards).
4) Turn all axis off expect yaw and cannot get the thing to respond to the left, full left is OK, at center point going back toward right, it reverses direction and goes back left as opposed to continuing to the right.
5) I put the Vector clip on and selected vector and it works fine in all axis.

So now I have your final build of software and it still is not working....any clues?

I am running Vista 64 SP1 as administrator.

I finally got this working yesterday. I loaded the new drivers after deinstall of TrackIR. Open TrackIR go to profiles and selct the profile that you want edited. I did this for FSX and created a new profile. Deselect everything but YAW and create a custom profile for it....it took me about 30 minutes to find a spot on the curves that works properly but basically the profile looks like a rather large bird in flight with it's wings up. Deselect YAW and select pitch an do the same thing but this shape is a bird wing with the center value (0) at 54 and position (2) and (-2) at 13. You'll have to play with these values to get it work in "your" environment.

Hope this helps.

I received my TrackClip Pro today and had the exact same problem. I was trying to edit some of the premade profiles but had all sorts of problems - inverted axis and jerky head movements (where the head didn't track what I was doing).

Finally, I hit "New" and just started from scratch with a new profile. Loaded the defaults and jumped right in to Over Flanders Fields without a hitch. I literally didn't have to do anything.

So instead of trying to edit existing profiles, try just making a new one.

Hello,
I do have the same problem: erratic movements on the gauges. The heads movements the same erratic and vibrating fast. There is a line in the middle of the display besides the SIX (?) dots display,
is this a sign of product defect?
I can not find useful to have six dots...? all your info and videos refers to THREE dots. Do I really need the clip on my headphones besides the sensor on the baseball hat?
Your help is appreciated,
Klm1748

ps. Using Windows Vista Home Prem. SP2.
Display: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core

No, you need to only use one, either the TrackClip, or the TrackClip Pro. Using both will cause erratic tracking.

Dear support,
Thx for your help, things are better now; I still have the red line in the middle of the 'tracking' display...and that gives me "two" boxes inside the frame, with very little space to center in the whole window the three dots, looks like is a hardware problem. I did re-installed the program properly all the lights are in the main sensor. Would you tell me how to get rid off that middle red line?
Help is really appreciated,

First of all I would like to say the company Natural Point has amazing customer service and help. Their products are expensive, but the level of support is worth it. A big Thank You!

Install Beta version of software. I had the exact same problems while using my clip (since I never install beta software) but when I installed the Beta 5 software, everything was SO much better. Perhaps you can get the final version of 4 working with the headphone clip, but beta drivers did it for me.

(I didn't uninstall the V. 4 software. Assumed it would auto uninstall it but it did not. Going back to uninstall it now.)
