Track IR5 not working with games

Do I need to uninstall the beta first?

nope,still not working with any of the games....

Same problem as my original problem...left hand LED is on, the Natural Point software works with the Track IR..but its not working with the games, right hand led deos not light up.

still, the only drivers that work are the latest track ir4 drivers

What version of Windows are you using?

Did you do a clean uninstall, before downloading, and installing the latest software?

windows Vista 32
Clean install
installation as the instructions say.

tried running as admin also with no difference

What gaming applications are you using?

ones Ive tried are the following

Aces High 2
Rise of Flight
Battle of Britain 2
IL2
ARMA 2

or if you mean hardware, just a headset and Saitex X52

intrestingly I have found a cure to it,

After installing the new software, Vista was already running the program as administrator privligies in the shortcut on my desktop under the compatability tab, So I unchecked this and tested the track IR and it now works with my games.

so for some reason it deos not like it when I run the track ir5 software as admin


Edit:

I just tested this again by enabling " Run as administrator" under privalige level in the compatability tab, in the shortcut to my game.exe and the Track IR software was not recognising my game, I then unchecked the run as admin..and the Track IR would work with my games again

Yesterday I updated from "5.0 Beta" to "Final", too, and was experiencing that my "Strike Fighters 2" wasn't recognized any more (unlike than in the Beta).

I will check out the above, delete the "shortcut" and create a "fresh one" to start without admin-rights...

Btw: you name "Strike Fighters 1" on your list of supported games on the TrackIR-hp (strange enough that one is not in the list shown in the 5.0-software itself) - you can add the "Strike Fighters 2"-series just as well. Works great (right now I am just not sure about the x and y-axis)!
