TrackIR and Wings of Prey Issue

Hi,

my TrackIR 4 (current TrackIR 5 SW installed) also does also not recognize the Wings of Prey demo. The green LED is on but the blue LED is off. Also the TrackIR SW says that no TrackIR enhanced game is recognized although the Wings of Prey demo is currently running. Head tracking works fine in the TrackIR 5 SW application.

Is Wings of Prey listed on your games list?

Hi Vincent,

yes, Wings of Prey is listed under "titles" with "Default" profile.

Camera is detected and connected (green), Camera tracking status is active (yellow) but TRackIR enhanced (Game enabled) stays dark.

The LED at the TrackIR device itself is green.

Even with the full version of Wings of Prey (from Yuplay - not the Steam version) my TrackIR (version 4 with SW version 5 installed) doesn't work.

What version of Windows are you using?

I have VISTA Ultimate 32bit patched to the most current version by using Windows Update.

TrackIR is recognized and running fine in FSX.

You have tried right clicking on the exe for each application, and selected run as admin?

that's the solution! I need to run Wings of Prey as admin. Unfortunately I had to re-activate it and lost one activation

Does that mean I have to literally use the word 'admin' or do I just have to use my log-in, which has admin priveleges?


Never mind. I had to update the games list and add WoP. Working fine, now.
