I have problems shutting down TrackIr 5 with Pro. Shutting down FSX yet TrackIr lingers on. Is there a particular sequence?

Which version of the TrackIR software are you using?
Are you connected directly to the PC, or are you connected thru a hub?

Thank you for your response. I am using TrackIr 5 #xxxxxx updated a week ago. I connect directly to the PC and am using Windows 7 64bit.

So you have the 5.1.2 beta 3 software installed?
Is it using the 2.50 drivers (within the device manager)?
Any other USB devices plugged in next to the TrackIR camera?

I have the software update that came out recently 5.1.100 9364.
I noticed under properties compatibility Windows XP (2) is ticked on while I am running Windows 7 64bit. Windows 7 does not show up as an option. It stops with Vista. Maybe that is the problem.
In Device Manager under Natural Point Devices it shows only Natural Point trackIR 5
I am not sure if that is where the drivers could be found.
All my USB ports are filled including TrackIr which has a double port as provided by your product.

Actually there is a newer version, than the one you have currently installed, you should try the current beta 3 software.

Ok in the system device manager, under NaturalPoint devices - double click on the TrackIR camera listed there, then go to the driver tab, this will show you the current driver version being used.

I installed the 5.1 - beta 03 version.
The driver is the 2.50 version
The TrackIr 5.1 has an exit now on the top left hand icon.
I landed and left the fsx plane running and attempted to turn off TrackIr by way of the exit. A little rectangular sign comes on stating "Shutting Down Clients" and then just hangs....
In order to shut it down i have to go control/alt/delete where it shows up as not responding. Eliminating that does not shut down the LED lights.
Any ideas?

What happens if you close FSX first, before closing the TrackIR software?
