I plugged in my trackIR 5 today to play some arma 2, and as soon as I launched the TrackIR 5 software my mouse and keyboard lights go off, and they become unresponsive. the only way to get my mouse and keyboard back is to do a restart.
also, the trackIR is not working during this whole process, in trackclip mode the IR lights dont come on, and if I switch the settings before I plug in the trackIR and set to trackclippro mode
it will not "see" my trackclippro right in front of it.
please help I have no idea whats wrong with my trackIR5!!!
I am running TrackIR 5 5.2.200
Windows 7 x64
GTX 470
Intel i5 3570k
8GB ram

I believe this is a hardware issue with your computer. The LED lights on the TrackClip are not driven by software. Have you reinstalled TrackIR? Could you test with a different computer? Please let me know.

I had exactly the same problem and it drove me crazy until I figured out what to do.
It appears the Trackir5 was conflicting with my USB mouse. I simply used a USB/PS2 adapter to plug my mouse in via the USB port and viola! it works perfectly.
I've started playing some rise of flight with the trackir and I LOVE IT!
