Re: Frequent game crashes solution
Certainly resolved my problems - no CTDs of any sort since doing the ammendments.

Re: Can't correct in-game head 'roll'
<t> Thanks Vincent - got your email with suggestion I blank out the centre built-in reflective strip on the hat's peak, leaving just the three reflectors on the vector clip operative and now the roll function works perfectly. I had to remember to edit the profile and check the roll's invert box for ...

Can't correct in-game head 'roll'
<t>I installed the latest TIR drivers for my TIR3Pro/Vector (assume it was OK to use these and they weren't solely for TIR4) and the only game I have that uses the vector expansion is BoB2. Just started playing this again, having read that the latest BoB patch resolved so many issues that stopped me...

Altering profiles
<t>On one thread I read, the advice was to change from smooth to aggressive in order to get smoother responses, which I thought sounded a little peculiar.<br/> Can someone summarise exactly what happens when these dynamics are changed - should I be using smooth, aggressive or what? I'm mostly flying...

Re: IL2FB slight blurring when moving head
It's 'Always On' in the 9800 Pro properties panel under 3D OpenGL Current Settings list.
Can't see where to switch it on or off within IL2 or in the desktop IL2 Setup Panel.

<t>V-Sync isn't turned off - that's one of the things I did check, having read threads elsewhere describing the tearing problems in the past.<br/> The new BoBWoV game arrives in a couple of days and I'll try that first to see if the same effect happens. If it doesn't, the answer may reside within IL...

Re: 1st Person shooters?
<t>Well I was convinced I downloaded all the profiles from this site but having looked at the 'Share Profiles' section it doesn't appear to be there. I haven't visited any sites other then the UK RC Simulations one and I don't see it there either so now I'm totally perplexed!<br/> This is its conten...

It's changed the way I fly
<t>Before buying TIR3 with Vector expansion, I invariably flew IL2 without the cockpit view as I just couldn't see what the heck I was shooting at. Now I can move my head freely and change views naturally, I'm flying with the cockpit switched on all the time. <br/> The impression of being in a real ...

Re: 1st Person shooters?
<t>Don't think so. This was a bloke saying he used TIR3 Pro in a shooter and by leaning left or right in his seat, the on-screen effect was simulated there. This wasn't allocating keys to do it, just simple head or body leaning movement and he could peer round an obstacle.<br/> Similarly he could mo...

Re: IL2FB slight blurring when moving head
<t>Hi Rick,<br/> I should have checked this first, of course!<br/> <br/> Yes, in fact it's worse with TiR switched off and using the mouse - I'd simply not noticed it previously having rarely used the mouse for looking around. <br/> The effect is rather akin to having a bit of a hangover, whereby th...
